Senator Ademola Adeleke, Governor of Osun State, has approved the reversion of Osun State Polytechnic Iree’s school tuition to the original amount prior to the July 2022 Governorship election. Tuition costs for new students were raised from N67,850 to N112,850 for students pursuing science-related programmes, while those pursuing management-related courses were requested to pay N97,300 instead of the initial N57,300. The reversal was allowed after the institution’s student union leadership brought the increment to the notice of the government and requested that it be reversed.
